Where can you find Toronto building permit records?
Use the City’s building records service for historical records or plans. Use the application status service for a current permit.

The right service depends on what you need: an application’s progress, a building record, a plan or a property information report. Access rules differ for different records and plans.
Write down the property address, approximate work dates and the document you want. A missing search result alone does not establish whether previous work was permitted.
