We collect only what the workflow needs.

When you submit a request for professional help, BuildRules may collect the contact information you provide, the jurisdiction, project type and page that generated the request. This information is used to respond to your request, operate the service and, when matching is requested, connect the request with a relevant service provider.

What we do not need

Do not submit permit drawings, government identification, financial information or other sensitive personal information through the lead form.

Service providers

Hosting, database, analytics and form-processing providers may process information on BuildRules’ behalf. A professional-match request may be shared with a relevant provider so they can respond to the request.

Retention and requests

Lead records should be kept only as long as needed for the request, operational records and applicable legal obligations. Operator identity, contact details and the final retention schedule must be completed before public launch.
