A spot is awarded when BuildRules approves ownership of an eligible published profile. If a cohort fills first, the company keeps its normal directory profile but does not receive that founding marker.

How a spot is earned

Claim the business. We handle the cohort logic.

    Find or create your profile

    If the business is already listed, claim it instead of creating a duplicate.

  2. 02
    Prove ownership

    BuildRules reviews the ownership request. Ownership and verification remain separate.

  3. 03
    Receive the founding marker if space remains

    When the approved profile matches a recruiting city and specialty, the database awards the next available spot automatically.
