Do I need an account or email to get a brief?
No. Read the municipal guidance preview, add your property address and project details, then generate and print or save your brief without an account or email. An email copy is optional and depends on delivery availability. Newsletter signup is separate and optional.
Does the brief confirm that my project is allowed?
No. It organizes research, not permit approval. An address alone does not establish zoning compliance. Your property dimensions, zoning exceptions, drawings and other conditions may still need municipal or professional review. BuildRules does not issue permits.
Which municipalities and projects are covered?
The form lists municipalities with published project guidance. Choose a municipality to see its available projects. Coverage varies by project; municipal guidance does not mean that parcel-level records are available for every address.
