The published period is not the whole project.
Brampton's February 2026 Accessory Buildings Package lists a Standard 10 Day Permit Application Service for an accessory structure requiring a permit, after a complete application. Do not treat this as a guaranteed issuance date; zoning and other approvals may add time.

Brampton requires a permit for a storage shed of 15 m² or greater. Other accessory building types can require a permit from 10 m².
Brampton states that an individual accessory structure cannot exceed 15 square metres under this residential guidance.
The City states that up to two accessory structures are permitted when their combined area does not exceed 20 square metres.
Accessory structures are generally at least 0.6 m from property lines. Play structures and pool enclosures have different 1.2 m setbacks.
Brampton generally places residential accessory structures in rear yards and limits height to 3 m. Corner and special lots can have different restrictions.
